Meet the Team

Mary has been in the event/meeting planning world since graduate school — culminating in owning her own Destination Management Companies (Perfect World Events and ACCESS). Many years ago, the DMC portion was sold, and Event Focus was formed solely doing big event production/meeting management for such companies as Facebook, Netflix, VISA, AbbVie, Wieden + Kennedy and many, many more. Her strength quite simply is in designing large scale events and pushing the creative envelope for some of the most progressive companies in the world. This came to an end with the COVID pandemic, and now she is ready to start back on a limited basis with her friend, Heather Holbrook, in a unique contracting partnership.

Mary’s personal passions include travel, hiking, wine, watching any sporting event, and spending time with her husband Kevin and her two children Mia and Max.

Heather has been involved with all facets of events for over 10 years, primarily partnering with corporate clients both locally and nationally, and have assisted with all of their event related needs from meetings to incentives; large scale event design and production; transportation and staffing; on-site execution and team building opportunities.  Her strength lies in the local relationships she has built over her tenure to create one-of-a-kind experiences for clients.  She stepped down from her role of managing a successful event sales team right before the pandemic to focus more attention on her young girls with the intent to move into contract work, but as for so many of us, those plans were put on hold as we all navigated the waters of an unknown territory.  She is now ready to get back to her passion for events with her long-time friend and business partner, Mary.  They've created this partnership to help clients find meaningful connection again through customized experiences.  

When Heather is not chasing after her passion for events, she is chasing after her girls, Olivia and Harper, who keep her on her toes and engaged at all times through their soccer games and swim meets.  She is also a pickleball junkie; a health and wellness nut and loves a great glass of wine over a nice dinner or with wonderful friends!
